When & Where:Thursday, April 26, 2018, from 6:30 – 8:30pm, Skinner Theater

Grade 8 will present their final service projects on April 26th in Skinner Theater.  All are welcome to attend and learn about the fascinating ways each student spent their time with a local organization of their choice. Topics will include: Boys Scouts (how it positively impacts the community), Aikido (how it affects your health and longevity of life), Team Read (tutoring), Rainier Valley Food Bank, Mary’s Place (homeless shelter for mothers and children), Parkshore Retirement home, Center for Wooden Boats, Teen Link (teen crisis call line), Madison Grove Farm and Empowering Strides (these last two are therapeutic horse riding places).

The entire school is welcome to attend! This is a wonderful opportunity for everyone to share in this culminating aspect of our eighth graders’ journey and see how they’ve shared their innate and learned talents with the broader community.
