Amid a global pandemic, our Waldorf school thrives!

Bright Water Waldorf School is an inspiring story of survival. When the pandemic first hit, we were struggling as a school and nearly had to close our doors for good. However, thanks to our amazing community of teachers, staff, and families who rallied together, we are still standing strong today! Bright Water was not only able to persevere but start fresh in a new location at the Japanese Cultural and Community Center. Together, we are committed to being an inclusive, diverse, and affirming school community, so every student can feel valued, respected, and welcomed at school. We wouldn't be here without the love and support of our community. And with everyone's commitment, we'll continue to prosper in the years ahead. As you know, Waldorf education is enriching and unique, which is why we are asking for your help. Nurturing the Whole Child

Bright Water Waldorf Schools is part of a worldwide transformative educational movement that acknowledges and nurtures the whole child. As children progress through the curriculum, they become adept at navigating their physical and intellectual capabilities, the natural world, and the communities they inhabit. Music, art, drama, movement, and handwork are all woven into academic lessons daily along with a healthy dose of time spent outside, experiencing and internalizing the rhythms of nature. The school and its faculty are dedicated to helping each child discover and live their authentic selves by inculcating ingenuity, instilling compassion, and developing skillful artistry.
